Severe weather occurs in every part of the world, but the United States is subject to some of the worst. Little can be done to control the weather, therefore it is every individual’s responsibility to learn how to cope with the effects of severe summer storms. Only through the use of common sense can we improve our chances of survival. In a severe weather emergency, it is individual action that saves lives.
